I am extremely happy with this case. It's heavy-duty, the handle straps are wide and comfortable, and the ability to roll the whole thing is invaluable.

I fly regularly (weekly) with this bag and it holds a lot of gear, 3 stands, cables, tripod, boots etc. I like it. Only downside is that I've needed to own 4 so far due to the bottom breaking out. I usually get 9 months out of them as it seems airline baggage handlers seem to like to crush them and the base is unfortunately only made of an air core plastic sheet. Besides that, Ive only had to replace 1 set of wheels and they were shipped and supplied for free due to melting while pulling along a tarmac road in summer. The zips are strong but are well and truly gone by the time the baggage handlers have done their bit. I'm happy with them and will buy another today. NOTE: you'll need a large car to transport it as 48" is a long bag. $[$]for 9 months is a bargain I reckon. I only wish there was an agent in Australia.

Comments about Tenba 48" Rolling Tripod/Grip Case:

I struggled with whether to order the 36" case of the 48" case. I read all the reviews. Because I didn't plan on traveling (on airlines) with the case I didn't think I'd need the 36" case. I was also concerned that 48" would be way long. It indeed is long but not necessarily so. I'm glad that I purchased the 48" case. It gives me plenty of room for all my light stands (and as it turns out I have one the is 42" long folded). The bag has straps to hold down the light stands and other gear (unadjustable though) and there are plenty of outer and inner pockets to store other items. A good purchase.

I thought I already reviewed this. Reading the reviews, guess not. Can't say enough about it. Two tripods: Man 536 Carbon Fiber, second one, manfrotto stands, Sennheiser 416, Juice Link, Microphone stand - carbon fiber.

                  Amazing bag...

There are not many grip case options out there besides the large coffins or soft bags. This one does the job and can easliy hold 4 c-stands and other grip equipment. Great that it has wheels but I dont feel the same quality as the air cases they make. Just feel like its a matter of time before the wheels break from all the weight. But I am still giving it 4 stars for saving my back.

I had a pretty extreme need - a bag that would carry steel c-stands, a steel boom, a collapsible flag kit, grip heads and arms and sand bags to boot. Amazingingly this case holds everything without straining, and still manages to roll easily once loaded to some 85 odd lbs.

This bag is awesome! It's very well made and the zipper is very strong. It has nice handy inside pockets, and straps with latching hooks to keep things in place when in motion. I carry 4 light stands, multiple umbrella swivels, light modifier brackets, two umbrellas, small spigots and lots of hardware, and there's room for more. If you need a large roller for your lighting kit, this is the bag to get. Very satisfied with this product.

I have already taken this bag on 4 flights, and it seems to be holding up well. It's easy to get it under the 50 lb limit for most airlines, and even though it's oversized by most airline standards it was never flagged since it doesn't look bulky like a hardshell case would.

Its durable, portable, and severed its purpose well. I carry a lot of weight besides the tripod and it handles it well.

Solid Construction. Can handle 4 c-stands (although it weighs a ton fully loaded). A space saver for transporting stands.

I use this case with some pretty heavy stainless steel stands. It fits a C-stand and the heavy duty Avenger boom stand (I use the stainless steel stand with the casters) and it fits perfectly and carries comfortably. The carrying handle is padded so it's comfortable to lift/carry if you have to. The wheels seem pretty well made too. A friend of mine has the case that was made before this one and has had problems with the zippers but this one seems to be improved. This new version is made in the USA too.
