Cinevate's Durus Follow Focus w/15mm Clamp is a sleek, high-end tool that brings a professional level of control to focusing video on a camcorder or DSLR using a rod/rail support system. Machined to computer precision, this sturdy aluminum unit uses a single 15mm rail mount design that not only frees up space for other accessories, but allows the device to be mounted on either side of the camera--at any height or angle, even upside down. Precise, interchangeable 0.8 film pitch gears effortlessly mesh a 35mm lens with the adjustment knob, while measurements are marked on the dry-erase focus ring. The design and build of this Durus Follow Focus has to be seen to be believed.
It has a rock solid connection to bars, zero back-lash and it delivers accurate repeatable focus pulls every time. I believe that this Durus unit will outlive many cameras; it's perfect.
Don't be tempted to purchase inferior units until you've had a demo of the Durus; it's absolutely amazing.
Delivery time to UK was just 4 days; bonus.
