Comments about Avenger F805 Baby Wall Plate - 6" Stem:
This is a heavy duty plate and works perfectly for hooking lights to a wall without needing a stand. I also use it on an applebox so that I can have lights tilted up at a super low angle or so that I can place lights in nooks where stands won't fit.

great product. As a dog photographer, I've attached to exposed beams. No light stands, no wires for dogs to trip over. Great

Comments about Avenger F805 Baby Wall Plate - 6" Stem:
Saw these referenced in Grey's book on lighting. As a dog photographer, I have a hard time doing any back lit or backdrop lit work because: 1. the animal moves around 2. the animal mass is not large enough to hide the lights pointing to the backdrop, and 3. Most of the time I do both the dog handling and shooting. Flat on-the floor stands....are OK but they still peek out from behind the dog...even when using a table. Plus more light stands in the studio = more stuff for dogs to knock over!!! Luckily I have exposed rafter in my studio/barn area and these items solve a myriad of problems.

Comments about Avenger F805 Baby Wall Plate - 6" Stem:
These baby wall plates are extremely helpful for many situations. I would hardly call them "baby" plates. They are big and sturdy and can handle just about anything. The 6 inch stem gives you plenty of room to keep the base out of the way. And the 8 holes on the plate give you plenty of options for mounting anywhere. I mounted the plate to [...] strip lights, which I can now attach to my C-Stand or boom knuckle and maneuver into any position. The plates allow me to add these lights into my equipment bag for a different lighting look and I feel confident taking them anywhere. Great piece of equipment that I couldn't find anywhere locally (Denver).

Comments about Avenger F805 Baby Wall Plate - 6" Stem:
Did the trick. I have a very small )10x20 foot) studio and the hair/background light on the stand was always sneaking into the edges of my shots.
No more! Now I just have to find a way to tone down the power of the light for use as a hair light. Shouldn't be hard, I'm sure B&H has a solution!

Comments about Avenger F805 Baby Wall Plate - 6" Stem:
The Avenger 6" baby plate has gone into my grip bag, and already has saved me in a couple of shoots. I have stuck it on a tree when I needed a top light, and used it on a pancake for a low angle I needed. It's great, and long enough to do just about anything.
