The ARRI T1 Fresnel 1000W 3-Light Kit gives you a powerful, versatile location lighting kit in a compact package. Three 1000W T1 Fresnel fixtures (with lamps), three sturdy 8.5' (2.6 m) stands, three full single and three full double scrims, an accessory pack that contains a bulb storage box, ditty bag, clothes pins, leather gloves, and an extension cord with 3 outlets, and a heavy duty rolling case will have you out the door and on your way to your next location, tout suite. Supplied for use with 120VAC (may be used with 220-240VAC with the appropriate bulbs and plug adapters, available separately).

We shoot interviews and events with DSLRs (60D and 1DX). We initially purchased a similar Lowell kit with 1000 watt DP lights. We returned those lights immediately. The Lowell lights, while a little bit cheaper, are just garbage compared to the Arri. The Arri lights are head and shoulders above the Lowells. Don't waste your time or money on the Lowell. Get the Arri. Both performance and build quality are far superior. In the end, the Arri is in fact much less expensive because it performs better and will last much longer. The Lowell is like a toy compared to the Arri - really no comparision at all. The few dollars more for the Arri are well worth it. Get the Arri - you won't regret it. Add gels, sandbags, diffusion, and extension cords - you are all set. We will add three or four Arri 650 watt fresnels to complete our setup. Only change I'd really like to see is air-cushioned light stands instead of the regular stands included in the kit. Highly recommended light kit. 1000 watts is really the best to start with - you can always deal with extra light, but not having enough light is always a problem.
