This is the fourth B205D that we have purchased to use in conjunction with the Behringer P16-M personal mixers at our church. The musician are very happy with these small but powerful and clear sounding monitors. This setup has greatly reduced the stage noise issue we previously had.

I thought I could never get as good a buy from BHphoto as the Nikon P7100 I bought a few months ago, but this B205d is just amazing for its size and price. I lead a pickers' circle weekly at a local restaurant. We don't let anyone plug in but do need two vocal mics to keep the guitars, fiddles, mandolins, harmonicas, etc. from overpowering the singers. Up to now I've been using a small mixer plugged into an instrument amp, and it has been cumbersome in the tight space we have.
The B205d sounds great, has plenty of volume, and is just amazing for its 7 pounds.

I have also used it with a mixer in front of it, plugged into the RCA connectors. The sound quality is just as good this way and lets me support multiple mics and instruments. There is absolutely no distortion in that configuration.

Two other members of our circle are ordering for themselves.

I'm putting my well-used but 43-pound Acoustasonic Jr. up for sale!

Love the sound and volume we get from such a small unit.

I needed a personal monitor for my dj setup for gigs, but wanted to keep my costs low without sacrificing quality. This little monkey covered that to a tee.
The multiple inputs/outputs make this monitor versatile no matter the mixer
and the size means i can use it pretty much anywhere. The in-house eqs are perfect to add those little touches that make the sound as crisp as you need it, and man, is it loud when set to just a quarter from no sound. Any distortion i've heard has been remedied through adjusting the input volume as well as the master volume. I liked it so much after 6 months that I ended up getting another to have stereo monitors when gigging out or a personal for practice at home, and everyone whose seen/heard/used it has been impressed enough to ask how much it was and then astounded enough to get their own or offer to buy it off me. Overall a great buy and definite recommendation.

This is used in a retirement communities activity department for both indoor and outdoor events and works very well. It is very small and lightweight but certainly mighty!

We needed a smaller PA for smaller events that was light but still packed some punch. This little PA gets it done. Very light and easy to move and store.

I play guitar in a 5 piece cover band and use the Eurolive B205D as my guitar monitor. I run my guitar straight into the sound board and love the B205D as my monitor. It is small and easy to transport and provides more that enough power for what I need. What a great unit, I now own 3 of them and my wife uses one as her monitor when she is playing keyboard and singing. Great choice.

I bought the B205D to use as a monitor at my band's gigs. It is solid, loud and clear. In fact, I was surprised by the quality of sound I got with my acoustic guitar. I've now bought another one, so that I can use these Behringers as a PA system for acoustic gigs. This is a very good product at a great price.

The size belies the power of these speakers. They are easy to setup. Plug and play to my 2488 Porta Studio but be careful. Make sure they are not on max when you power on. I bought these as monitors for my recording deck but Popa Dave Montano and his hired guns will probably be adding these to our remote setup to augment the sound when you have a room with odd angles. Great as a practice amp and harmonica amp. Very versitle. I can see a lot of possible uses for these.

A lot of great features. The best Personal Monitor I've ever used. I use the B205D for professional gigs. It works exceptionally well with vocals, flute, clarinet, soprano sax and Brazilian percussion. (The modes that I have been using, so far).
The sound quality is excellent. The flexible 3 band EQ can be easily set to match the desired output response.
The included tilted mic stand adapter allows the monitor to be set to high levels without any feedback or undesired vibrations.
Easy to carry and setup. Has more features than I could list here. Great price. Daisy chain audio, ext input to/from more monitors, output that can be sent to other audio devices, mixed line input, etc. Easy to carry and setup.

I am using the product as a practice amp and I hope to eventually use it for small open mics. I do a DJ set with Abelton Live but it is more elecontrica oriented than thump thump thump thump. I mention this because although the unit puts out a lot of clean sound, and the bass is better than what I expected from an 8 inch speaker, someone using this for other than guitar or vocals might need a bigger cabinet. But for a small listening environment it packs quite a punch.

I wish it had more of a handle because it is a little awkward to carry around, but it is small enough to fit in a gym bag so this is not a show stopper.

The variety of inputs makes this a handy device and considering the price i was very impressed. The construction feels very solid.

This product was intended for use as a PA or mobile amp for professionals. I don't use it for that at all.

I wanted a small speaker system for music and also for movie sound with my micro projector.

It fills the bill perfectly. Fits in a backpack, is louder than anything else of that size, and has great sound through the whole range. The 3 equalizer knobs are just bonus. It also happens to be very sturdy. Oh, and cheap.

I play in a midi assisted duo and in the past many cases the clubs we played allow us enough room for small floor monitors. More and more we are performing in smaller clubs where floor monitors are not practical. Because we rely on midi generated sounds (drums, keys etc.) we must be able to hear clearly in order to perform properly. These Behringer monitors are very nice and have a good bit of power. We now own two and they are perfect for our situation. Full sound.

Yes, yes, this monitor is worth every penny. I don't know what more you could want (especially for the reasonable price).

But there are NO instructions in their feeble attempt to create an instruction manual.

As a result, the two other members in my band have spent several evenings trying to connect our 3 Behringer monitors, without any success.

Only after the guitarist went to our local music store and asked an expert how to get them working together, did we finally solve the mystery.

To top it off, one of the monitors—mine—won't receive or send a signal to the other monitors. So as I write, I am about to experience the hassle of returning my monitor to B&H. Even when/if(?) I get a full refund, I'm out $50 for shipping and Customs. Ugh.

My advice: keep the shipping box and if you are using more than one of these monitors in a band with a PA, expect a long frustrating experience trying to figure out how to perform the right connections.

Got this for my daughter who sings in some bands, often doing gigs in small venues like restaurants. Her mic was being plugged into keyboard amp on floor and her voice wasn't coming through clearly. The B205D is a flexible, powerful little solution that clearly reproduces voice from mic and signals from MP3 players and other sound sources. On the mic stand it gets the sound up to ear level. I was surprised how loud this unit is given its size and fairly small 5.25" speaker.

Considered the Mackie SRM150 as well but saw reviews showing reliability problems; usually something Behringer gets hung with. Mackie also costs a lot more $$.

Bought this for my daughter's birthday. She loves to sing, and the choice was something like this or a dedicated karaoke machine. Those machines felt cheap (unless you spend $200+) and this feels completely solid, although not too heavy for a ten-year-old to move around. She can plug in her ipod and sing along to whatever she likes. Second mic input means her sister can join her from time to time. Overall, very very pleased.

I searched for a high quality PA system and all the good ones seemed to be at least $250. Then I found this one. It's loud and strong-- 150 watts, if lightweight and easy to carry around, and is $100 cheaper than equivalent PA systems. Buy it!
