Overall a good product for the price. We were looking for a reasonably priced DVD player for our 2 year old. This product was perfect. It is compact and seems to be holding up well. We liked the fact that the player comes with the adapter for the car as well as the hoder that fits over the headrest. Would definetely recommend this player to someone with small children

When this product works it's great, but when it doesn't it takes me HOURS to get it working again. I bought this for a 18 road trip from TX to TN. It worked ok from LA to MS, and since then it continues to tell me NO Disc. The troubleshooting tells me to leave it on for an hour or two, and then try again. Which works if you have a 15 month old that is willing to wait, and mine is not. So, thank goodness I'm a plan B kind of person and left plenty of room in the back seat for myself to sit next to her. I did try the product before leaving, and it worked great but only used it around the house and only for 15 mins at a time. And, on a road trip 5 hours or less we don't use a TV. I have to say this was the best product review which is why I bought it, but I wish right now I had two, and only paid half as much. Good luck to you if you get one that works better.

I bought this unit primarily as an extension for another portable DVD player. One of our kids faces forward in the car, and the other faces backward, and we wanted them to be able to watch the same movies. This was just about the only portable I could find that had AV in and a remote control (a must-have for road trips with little kids). This unit worked great at first, but then totally failed. Coby sent me a replacement unit without any hassle, but that one failed exactly the same way, after just two trips in the car. This player has a nice screen, good features, and comes with all the right accessories. I hope Coby fixes the problems with these, but for now, I caution against buying this model.

The form factor really lends itself well to use in the car when strapped to the headrest. The design is visually appealing to me. No problems with playback so far. The main drawback is the low resolution of the screen. I wouldn't use this for myself but for my two year old it's perfect.

Bought portable tablet for my 8 yr old on long trips. Set him up with a set of headphones and he is as content as can be. Unit mounts nicely and easily. Agree with other reviewers that it's a bit of a pain to have to take unit out of holster to change DVDs.

I use this dvd player in the car for my 2-year-old and it works great. It mounts to the headrest on one of our front seats so it is out of kicking range for the child. My only complaints have to do with the buckles on the mounting sleeve and the volume control. The buckles on the mounting sleeve connect where your head would touch the headrest, so it is not very comfortable for you to rest your head on these buckles. Also, the volume control is only reachable from the dvd player. The remote will not control the volume.

I bought this to use for travelling entertainment, but was very disappointed to find that out of the box, there were 2 burnt LCD pixels. You just cant avoid noticing these bright dots in the middle of your screen!! Great concept but cheap production.

I researched alot before purchasing this for my kids. Good battery life, good picture, easy to set up and remove from headrest. Everything that you need comes with it, earphones, case to hook it to headrest. Also comes with the cables to connect two together so you can watch the same thing or different movies. Will probably purchase a second one for the other headrest soon. The only bad thing about this player is having to take it completley out of the case to switch movies.

This dvd player comes equipped with many accessories for no additional cost which is great. The headrest harness in particular works fantastic. DVD player works great. We bought it for long car rides for our son and it keeps him occupied for a while. The picture quality is lower than I expected, but it works great and attaches easily on the headrests in the car. Remote works well, just wish you could control the volume with it. I bought this DVD Player for my daughter to use in the car during long trips. Although I have only used it a couple of times, it has come in quite handy. The only negative is that my itouch does not connect to the Player and so I have had to go out and buy DVDs.
