I had a shoulder laptop bag and was looking for a backpack for every day work use. This is exactly what I needed. I have a 16" Dell and it fits well and I am able to store other work essentials as needed. I don't expect to use it much for travel so a smaller size works for me. It only has one zippered pocket and could benefit from having more, but it works for me.
