The Primera Black Ink Cartridge contains dye-based ink for use with the Primera LX900 Industrial Label Printer. The cartridge contains 20 ml of ink, and the numbers of labels printed per cartridge vary depending on their color complexity and design.
The LX900 uses individual cyan, magenta, yellow and black inks so you only need to replace the ink cartridge that has been depleted instead of the entire cartridge, saving money on every label you print.

Like all ink for specialty printers, this isn't cheap but B&H has the best price. Have used many of these cartiges and with a little cleaning in between continues to work well.

Great basic black cartridge (OEM) for the LX900 printer. Sidenote: even though the software indicates the cartridges are out of ink (or even contain negative ink levels), but the cartridge continues to perform just fine. So, take with a grain of salt the levels estimated by the software. This is not a knock on the product, but just a heads-up for everyone out there not wanting to waste ink!

About the only cartridge that lasts from the LX900 Color Label Printer. Wish the other cartridge colors held it's capacity. In the end, the Black Ink Cartridge by Primera gives the best crisp quality.
