We think this system was designed for people who want the very highest quality sound from their DVD players, Blu-ray players, console games or whatever else they may hook up to their amplifier/receivers but who want to show off their decorating taste, not their audio equipment.
The SoundWare XS's five satellite speakers each are only four and half inches at their longest dimension. And you can mount them on a counter, flat on a wall or even in a corner where a wall meets the ceiling or floor. That along with their neutral white color and two-way driver system means they'll be noticed for their audio power, not their visual presence. Articulating brackets and other mounting hardware are included for each one. And they're all magnetically shielded so they won't interfere with CRT TVs or other sensitive devices.
Complementing the satellites is a 100 watt powered subwoofer that peaks out at 250 watts. But even at high levels that would cause lesser subwoofers to start to distort, this subwoofer's BassTrac circuitry allows for deep, powerful bass with exceptionally low distortion.

- The system's five ultra-compact and stylish SoundWare XS satellites are real two-way speakers (unlike many competitors). Each features a high-performance 2 1/2-inch (64mm) woofer and a half-inch (13mm) tweeter. Wall brackets are included for easy installation of all five satellite speakers.

Speedy shipping and just what we wanted. White speakers are small, but feel substantial. This is the only set of speakers in white with a decent sound that dosen't cost a ridiculous amount.

I wanted a surround sound system for my small den, but my wife didn't want big black speakers ruining her decor. The BA Soundware were the only white speakers I could find to suit our needs. I was skeptical about ordering them but didn't have any other choice. Had them installed this week and they actually sound really well. The installer was suprised as well. The speakers blend in really well with our light paint and white trim. The corner mounts that come with the set are hardly even visible when installed. The sub has great bass sound. Only thing I had to do was purchase a separate center channel in black to match the TV. BH sells individual Boston Acoustics cubes so I ordered on to sit under the TV and it works perfect.

This is a decent HTIB system. It's very easy to set-up. The subwoofer is truly outstanding and I did not have any trouble balancing the system's sound. I would recommend a receiver with an adjustable frequency crossover for the main speakers and let the subwoofer makes up lacks of the bass. My receiver is several years old and does not have that feature, but I was able to balance the sound by moving the subwoofer around. A new receiver is in my plans anyway. The sound is excellent with highly detailed highs, wide dispersion, clear midrange and very good bass. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs high quality sound!
