Comments about Celestron NexStar 90SLT Computerized Telescope:

Mine was pretty good overall, optics very slightly out of alignment (are not user-adjustable) so it gave images that were only pretty good. The tube coupling to the mount had minor play in it and the internal adjustments there didn't eliminate the play. I returned it for refund. May try one more time later on to see if I get a better one. I am very picky, and you may think it's wonderful and be perfectly happy with it! I do think the quality control is somewhat inconsistent. Even still it is vastly superior to a lot of small telescopes out there at the same price.

Comments about Celestron NexStar 90SLT Computerized Telescope:

An amazing instrument for both first time buyers and seasoned observers like myself. If you're frustrated (or worse) by lousy, poorly designed and basically unusable beginners telescopes, you will love this 90 SLT. It sets up in two minutes! If you can use a bubble level and can tell time, you can find sky objects accurately with this scope. This is my smallest scope (I have 4) and it gets just as much use as the others. And you can travel easily with this one, too, something that can't be said about my other ones. The only thing it can't do is show you incredibly faint objects that require a larger diameter telescope to even see. I think you'll be as thrilled about it as I am.

This telescope gives the most magnification and a great price for it. With this telescope I saw creates on a planet that you could barely see with the naked eye.
