Although it says it is a padded bag, only part of the bag is padded. It is also not as roomy as I expected. I bought it for a light kit, and it said it was within a 1/2" in either direction of the bag that was recomended, but I didn't like the style of that bag, and I can't fit the entire kit in this bag. Decent bag if you know what your actually gettting.

This is perfect for stacking my two Manfrotto 1052BAC stands, RH353 reflector (same as Avenger), umbrella brackets and some clips. I like the adjustable strap and the padding for comfort. Things do get a little tight but the stitching and solid zippers are great. I can see adding two more 1052BAC stands (for a total of four) and removing the RH353 while keeping the rest without a problem. Great little bag that forces you to keep your on-location kit light and agile.

Nice build, fits four stands, I just ordered the large bag for my umbrellas and boxes. I own other Monfrotto products and the quality is just as I expected.

Comments about Manfrotto LBAG90 Quick Stack Light Stand Bag, (Small):
I bought this bag to transport 2 small light stands, a bulky Manfrotto reflector holder, a couple of umbrellas and several clamps. This gear all fits, but without any room left over. This is consistent with the advertised capacity (4 light stands). The bag is compact and exceptionally well made, especially the strap and zipper which most less expensive bags really cheap out on.
My only complaint is that the interior 1/2-length pocket doesn't have a flap or closure of any kind, plus the opening is on the opposite side I would prefer (i.e. opens away from the zippered end). If you put small items like clamps and accessories in this pocket and stand the bag up on the squarish end (opposite the zippered end) or carry it with the thinner, zippered end up (which seems natural to me) then those items tend to slip out and collect at the bottom. That's why I rate it 4 stars instead of 5, but I still highly recommend this bag for a small set of lighting gear. I expect it to last a long time, just like my padded Manfrotto tripod bag has with similar construction.

Originally bought this for my Manfrotto Tripod, but instead have been using it to carry 6 umbrellas 2 Manfrotto 051NB Lightstands and a mono pod... I think I could get another Mono pod in there too If I needed.

Finding a confortable way to carry stuff around was a real challenge to me. I found this bag and decided to give it a try since I need to carry some amount of gear when shooting on location with some walking around all day long. I found this bag to be very convenient for carrying 2 lightweight Westcott Lightstands, the Apollo classic and Apollo ORB. It's a tight fit but it fits really nicely. The main thing about this bag is the way you can carry it in sling/ cross shoulder style and the padding is very comfy too. No padding on strap but plenty on the back section. Construction quality looks good and durable but since I've had this bag for just two weeks, I can't tell how it will hold after a couple of years mainly with the zippers but I don't predict any issues since it looks pretty heavy duty. A bit pricy but acceptable.

Great Bag, good sized for carrying monopod and small tripod and stand for location video shoots. Easy size to carry. Have used it on several shoots, haven't had it long but, anticipating good durability.

Comments about Manfrotto LBAG90 Quick Stack Light Stand Bag, (Small):
I bought the bag to carry two light stands and two 45 inch umbrellas. These fit with enough room for another stand and umbrella. Is it more expensive than some of the lighter weight choices? Of course it is! It is made of heavy weight Cordura which will stand up to the rigors of transportation and abrasion. The zippers are equally heavy duty and with reasonable care will not come apart the way the smaller (and cheaper) frail zippers do with annoying regularity. The padding is more than adequate for the type of equipment for which the bag is intended. The only thing missing is an external pouch for small hardware such as umbrella adapters and such (hence, the four stars instead of five). Considering the quality of the materials and workmanship, it is easily worth the extra money.

Okay I am writting this on my phone so I am sorry for typeing errors that will follow.
This is a great bag! I bought it to hold my portable manfroto stands and couldn't be more happy with it! It is large enough to hold three regular sized stands and sandbags with room. My stands being feather-weight makes it so I have room for a tripod as well and sandbags.
Sturdy construction. Probably the most sturdy stand bag I have. I use a golf travel bag for my huge set and I think this is built better than that with a hidden compartment.
I am getting a second one and am tossing my cheap tripod bags and stiking them all in this.
Hope this helped. I might add I am very critical of most photo gear! It take a lot for me to be impressed.
Get out and shoot!

Right now in this bag, I have: 3 light stands and 4 umbrellas with room for a soft box.
Its constructed really well and keeps my stands safe and in one place.
This isn't made to hike around the world with, its just not comfortable enough, but its great to carry to a shoot.

Fantastic bag if you have the corresponding sized Manfrotto stands. I do wish it had a little more padding, but admit that is probably unnecessary since it is well made and durable. One thing of note it that the bag doesn't have any pockets for cold shoes or umbrella adapters, hence the 4 stars. And the bag "just fits" the stands alone, so you need to disassemble any mounted gear (including adapters).

I travel a great deal for work with my equipment. I like to keep everything organized and protected. I have a few of these bags that I fill with 4 stands each and put them in larger pelicans for flight or vehicle travel. It helps me to stay organized and grab only what I need when I'm lighting, I hat having to dig through a bunch of random gear to get to buried stands!!!

This bag is extremely well made, but it's too small for the intended use. It's supposed to work with their 1052BAC stands, so I ordered it with a few of those. Yes, they fit, but there's not enough room when you add an umbrella swivel. That seems like a super common use that I would hope they would accommodate.
Bummer. I guess I'll look at the larger one.
