Comments about Bushnell 8x32 Trophy XLT Binocular (Green):

I bought these because I wanted a nice compact pair of binoculars for hunting. These are very clear and adjust very nicely for viewing.I like that they are clear from dusk to dawn as well. They are small enough to fit in just about any cargo pocket. I also have Leupold binoculars and these bushnells are just as clear and half the price. These also come with a nice neck strap and a nice case with a belt loop.So if you want some nice binoculars and dont want to break the bank try these ones

Comments about Bushnell 8x32 Trophy XLT Binocular (Green):

My wife and I both have a pair. They are mainly for use when travelling by airplane on vacation where size and weight are factors. At home, or when travelling by car, we use our 8.5x42 Swarovski EL binoculars. They retail at $2k each versus under $100 for the Bushnell's. This review, and your purchasing of these binoculars needs to take into account that the price equates to quality. The Trophy bins are small and will fit in larger cargo pant pockets, a purse or small carryall. They are also very light and easy on the neck and shoulders, which is a plus when doing a lot of walking. The central focusing knob is smoothe, especially in comparison to other brands of a like size. The individual right eyepiece can be adjusted, but we found it difficult to get it precisely where you want it for overall sharpness. The lenses are coated, but you do see a small circular corona. which is not objectionable. The field of view is decent.at 309 feet. The bins are nitrogen purged and waterproof. However, we haven't used them in rain as of this review. You can pick out birds in trees fairly easily. With the small objective lens the gathering of light at dusk and dawn is not nearly as good as the Swarvovsky. But, it is adequate. As is the fine tuning of objects. Our opinion, after testing these bins and several other compact bins (some in the $200+ range) is that these are better and you can't beat the price.

Comments about Bushnell 8x32 Trophy XLT Binocular (Green):

A person really shouldn't be able to buy a pair of binoculars that works this well for under $100. This is the 2nd pair of Bushnell Trohpy 8x32's I've owned. The first pair I owned for over 10 years and then left them somewhere one day, and never saw them again. You wouldn't believe how upset I was over basically a $[$] pair of binoculars! They just fit the hand, and do the job. Are the optically superior? Nope. Are they the most compact? Nope. Do most "serious" optics snobs ever look at them? Nope. But once you use them a while, you really start to wonder why on earth anyone pays hundreds of dollars for more expensive binocs. These just show up, are easy to use, easy to own, and get the job done. I love them. And I have a 10x42 pair of ED glass "premium" binoculars that I use for serious birding, in case you're wondering. It's just that I use these for EVERYTHING else. !!!

I was looking for a compact pair of bino's and went into Cabelas and tested several pair.I looked at these Binocular at [*] but purchased them from B&H for $40 less. Thanks B&H The Busnell XLT 8x32 were the best. I took them on vacation and they were awesome. They fit in my coat pocket for ease of carry, They never fogged up and are crystal clear even at first light. I like the pop up eye caps because they can be retracted to reduce the length of the bino's. Overall they were just what I was looking for.

First "nice" pair of binoculars, light weight and very clear optics, nice for watching the bird feeder or seeing a boat on the horizon. Good size for everyone in the family, including our 5-yr old son. Great value for the money.
