The Bowens Gemini 1500Pro Monolight (90-130/190-250VAC) delivers powerful lighting in a compact, portable package--1500Ws that operates from any electrical current (90-130/190-250VAC) or from a Bowens Travelpak system (not included), has a flash duration as short as 1/1400 second, and recycles in 2.8 seconds at full power. It's compatible with Pulsar/PocketWizard Trigger Cards (not included) for dependable remote control, and it has a 7-stop range of flash power (11-1500Ws) which can be precisely controlled in 1/10-stop increments.

I photograph paintings and sculptures on location and have used the Gemini 1500's for almost a year. They have given me stellar performance. The parabolic reflectors are the most efficient and even reflectors I've ever used.
The units give consistent, predictable light that is clean. Their output with the parabolic reflectors is decent, a photographer always wants more, but I can live with these.
They are huge, long and tall. But if the cost of this level of dependability is only this, I can live with it.
