The Interfit Collapsible Translucent Reflector (22") is a round light modifier used to reduce contrast by filtering the light striking the subject. The "reflector" (it's actually not used to reflect light, but to filter it) is 22" (56 cm) when open, and collapses to approximately 1/3 that size for storage and transportation.

I use this product to diffuse harsh lights allowing for better overall exposure. It's easy to use and folds up neatly allowing for easy transport.

A photographer that I really respect was explaining to me how he achieved the beautiful lighting in his shots from the Middle East. I was amazed when he told me he simply had a friend hold his off camera strobe and send it through this inexpensive "shoot-through." I'm eager to practice this technique. Of course I can also use it in portraits to mute the harsh sunlight.

I use the unit to diffuse light for green screen application. Only problem with it is that it's difficult to mount since it has no tie points. The diffusion works as expected though.

I use this for shooting children and infant portraits outside. It works great, but it isn't large enough for engagements or groups. For the low price, though, it's a handy little screen to have!
