I recieved the kit unaware that more hardware needed to be purchased to use them. So my backdrops have been laying on the floor till my husband had the time to go find the proper metal tubing needed to use the kit properly. He works when most steel yards are closed so he get's to spend his holiday today driving around looking for one that's open. Guess it's my fault for not doing better research but $ for the kits that include the tubes is pretty ridiculous amount to pay. The price for the product is fair, just be prepaired to buy more. Shipping was fast :)

Comments about Interfit Wall Mounting Kit for Paper Rolls:
I didn't want to spend too much on a background support system, so I went with the least expansive I could find from a known brand. I am extremely happy with it, it is sturdy, moves smoothly and it's affordable. I know some people complain about plastic chains being cheap, but I really don't see how they would brake under normal use, and if they do, you can just remove one link in the chain. It comes with metal shells to screw in concrete, so I had to buy some other screws for my application, other than that you have all you need in this kit.
Now I need to buy or make a counterweight for the bottom end of the paper rolls or they simply don't unroll. If you are not a DIY type, then you should consider ordering something like the Manfrotto 062-2 together with this kit. I currently use a long electrical pipe with the kind of foam pipe used to insulate copper piping, does the job, but I'm sure the manfrotto should be easier to use and less bulky.

Great product for paper, not so great for vinyl. Vinyl is a bit too heavy and puts too much pressure on the chains.

The instructions on putting this together weren't that helpful, but with a few extra hands it was a breeze. It takes a little figuring out to get it to work at first, but I've had it in my studio for a couple weeks now and I think it works wonderfully.

Comments about Interfit Wall Mounting Kit for Paper Rolls:
Great Product. Very simple to install. However, if you are going to put it on a wall that isn't new construction you will need to provide your own mounting hardware. The nuts and bolts that come with it only work when you can have access to the back of the stud you are mounting too. Very simple fix and a great product, looks very professional and really cleaned up my studio.

Comments about Interfit Wall Mounting Kit for Paper Rolls:
This product would work great if you stick with 5 ft or smaller rolls. Our 9 foot rolls are too heavy for the chains. The chains are made of flimsy plastic and don't work at all. We just go up a ladder and use our hands to turn the rolls.

Comments about Interfit Wall Mounting Kit for Paper Rolls:
Using for fine art studio. The kit is very well designed and the mounting hardware is heavy duty. To reduce overall weight, Interfit uses plastic for some components, such as the pull-chain & brake assembly. I guess in this case you have to compromise at some point with the bearing weight factor when using the mounted kit at it's 3-roll capacity (another nice feature!). This is the only reason I gave it 4, instead of 5 stars. Just be patient when using the pull-chain(s) and whatever you do, I strongly suggest not attempting to pull the roll down by the paper and with your hands, as this will cause the pull-chain to bind up. Easy enough to avoid though. I would buy again for sure. Hope this helps. Thx B&H!!!

Comments about Interfit Wall Mounting Kit for Paper Rolls:
This system is ideal for a small, medium, or even a section of a large studio. It is a versatile and very easy-to-use system. The only thing I would like to see is the option to purchase the rollers separately instead of having to purchase the entire system.

Comments about Interfit Wall Mounting Kit for Paper Rolls:
I ordered two of these kits to be installed in my studio. They are very easy to figure out and install and work well. I have three large paper rolls on each of them. Bolts included in the kit are for installing into concrete. We just had to get the proper bolts for drywall and it went up quickly and securely. Chains are a bit flimsy...but they work.

Comments about Interfit Wall Mounting Kit for Paper Rolls:
The Wall Mount Kit from a practical sense is a wonderful tool. I've mounted six rolls of paper and it has saved me a great deal of time since it was installed being able to move quickly from color to color. Equally, my clients are very impressed - always a good thing.
The only negative statement for the kit are related to the plastic "chains" used to roll-up the paper. They break far to easily and the weights don't really hold down the chain so the links are getting stuck when I'm pulling the paper out.
