I have been looking for something like this for a while. It's good for smaller to mid sized monopods. But they have to have the twist style locks not the flip lever style. I use a Think Tank belt system and while this does fit, it is a little too tight. I would like to see the belt loop a bit bigger and wish they had used more velcro for a more secure closure. However, adding in the grommet and carabiner was a great idea. This is how I attach it to my belt.
I think it is a good value for what you get.
