The Compaq LA2205wg 22" Widescreen LCD Computer Display from Hewlett-Packard is an energy-efficient LCD with a wealth of features. It can accept input from DVI, VGA, and DisplayPort sources, making it easy to connect to virtually any computer. Its integrated 2-port USB 2.0 hub gives you extra ports for commonly-used peripherals.
The display features a 16:10 aspect ratio and a native resolution of 1680 x 1050 -- greater than that of 720p HD video. It also boasts a 1000:1 contrast ratio, 250cd/m² brightness rating, 160°/160° viewing angle, and a 5ms response time. These features work together to allow the display to produce a crisp, smooth, and bright image.
- The included desktop stand supports 35° tilt adjustment, pivot head rotation, swivel, and 4.5" of height adjustment, allowing you to adjust the display to best suit your preferences

I bought this for my work PC as the company I work for uses smaller LCD's. I'm picky about my kit. Anyway, I choose this unit for its value and adjustability however, the specs read "swivel" and I assumed this meant the screen swivels on its base when in actuality the means you can turn the base around on your desk. What a joke. Aside from that issue the colors are good, not great, and it is a good value for productivity use. I have a superior LCD at home so it would not be fair to compare. The height adjutment isn't very high. So the reason I bought this over other models was for the adjustablity and in that regard it is a 2.5 out of 5.

Bought for my son, a sophomore in college, as a secondary monitor for his laptop. He loves the additional desktop space. Says the USB ports on the side of the monitor are very useful. Video quality is fine. Very stable when rotating, swiveling and raising up/down.
