I have two of these cables. One is mounted in the Sinjimoru dock I use for my iPod touch, and the second lays loose on my desk for my iPad.

I originally wrote [apparently three times over] that I thought this product was as good as, and of the same quality, as the Apple OEM. Oops!! After only four or fives months of easy use, the cord separates at the Apple dock plug. It still carries voltage for recharging my IPad2, but I would not trust it for data transfer with several of the exposed wires broken. I am going to epoxy the plastic cord in place because the 6 foot length of this item is useful to me, but I have the Griffen coiled 4 foot USB-Apple dock GRRGC 17080 on back-order with B & H.

I gave this three stars because while it will fit an iPod for the purpose of charging the device, it is not nearly as seamless a fit as the Apple version. You are paying good money for and iPad. May as well get the real thing from Apple.

I really like the length of this cable for my iPhone but it's a bit fragile for the cable to connector part. I have had a couple break. And it doesn't seem to charge iPads well. If you get one be gentle with it.

Apple only makes a one meter [3.28 feet] USB to Apple dock cable; more often than not, it's too short for practical use. The Isyncable is exactly the same design and quality as the Apple cable at a much more useful length.

The one meter [3.28 feet] USB to Apple dock cable that ships with the the iPod and iPad is often too short for convenient use when transferring data or recharging the device. Buy this product !!! It's identical to the Apple original in design, fit, and quality, only at a much more useful length. I returned the Griffen heavy-weight 3 meter cable to the [@] [$34.45 total], when I found the Isyncable 6 foot cable [[$] free S & H] at B & H's website.

When you buy an iPod or iPad2, Apple gives you a one meter [3.28 feet] USB to Apple dock cable for recharging the batteries or transferring data. More often than not, it's too short for the way we use these devices. The [@] charges [$] plus sales tax plus shipping for its one meter cable; B & H charges [$] no sales tax and free shipping for this INSYNCABLE six foot cable. I believe the phrase is: NO BRAINER !!! Buy this product; the quality is exactly the same as the Apple OEM.
