The Backdrop Alley Studio Stand with Black Premium Muslin Kit is a complete a portable system.
The Backdrop Alley Background Studio Stand is a rugged and dependable system that can be used for both large and small groups - both in studio and on location. It is made from high-grade lightweight aluminum and will hold a 9' role of paper. The Background Studio Stand is a large stand that measures 12 x 10.5" (HW).
The stand is operated using user-friendly twist lock knobs making it a "snap" to set up and break down. The stand comes with a carrying case making it a totally portable system.
The Premium Muslin backdrop is made from quality fabric with an excellent feel and weight. Made from 100% cotton, all sides are trimmed and finished. It comes with a pole pocket on the 10' side.

I've been using this kit for over a month and it's been working great! The stand is super easy to assemble and the muslin looks great! Nothing bad to say about it. Very straight-forward and good, solid quality!

We purchased this stand and back drop for work. We are now producing technical videos and photography in house and needed a backdrop. It was delivered on time and well packaged. The stand assembled very easily and can be configured to different widths and heights. The stand collapses to a manageable size and is stored in nice case. The only drawback is that there is a fair amount of deflection in the horizontal bar that holds the fabric when the bar is at maximum width but doesn't seem to be an issue.

I absolutly love this! It takes time to put together and at first I was confused on how to put together but it works great and serves the purpose. I love how it easly it folds up nicely in the bag.

The stand seems well made and has worked fine so far. But it does not have "quick release locks" as stated in the product description. And the case is nice, but is not padded as advertised.
As several reviewers noted, the black cloth backdrop does seem on the thin side.
