Great Lights!

By Mawnstorfilms

Comments about American DJ PAR38 Spot w/Lamp (Black) (120VAC):

I bought a couple of theses to light my we series and they put out a great amount of light for the price. I had an issue with my order and B&H went above and beyond to make it right. My only note is that if you plan to use these lights for filming narratives, use some type of diffusion to soften up the funky edges that the bulbs give off.

Great for light use

Comments about American DJ PAR38 Spot w/Lamp (Black) (120VAC):

I am using these as accent spots in my studio, and for my purposes they function exceptionally well. The design is good, and the smaller size and light weight adds to their versatility. My only concern would be the stress of heavy use. The porcelain fixture has a small degree of play, and I wonder if repeated movement and bulb changes may loosen or detach it as happened with my previous cans. Overall, I am pleased with them (they represent good value), and will order more.
