I bought two of these for the intent and purposes of splitting the main-out (left/right) from a mixer to a field mixer (SD 302) or audio recorder (Sony D50) to a camcorder (Sony SR8). To capture clean audio in case there was no other outputs available. They worked great, had no problems from the signal quality. The build quality looks nice and sturdy. Haven't had them long so I dont know how long they will last, but it says there's a lifetime warranty on them so we'll see. [Also on the side note, if anybody was wondering if I liked the set-up I mentioned above. Here's my take. The audio was clean, but I couldn't control the audio if it was peaking/clipping on the mixer's side (by lowering the main volume sliders) because that would lower all the instruments and mics. So no not really, this set-up is another back-up plan to all the possibilities that can happen in recording audio/video. Thank you for your time!

This cable does what you need it to. We use it to split output from our radio equipment, one for streaming video and one for wireless sound on top of highlight video.

* I used the splitters to split the audio at four different dynamic mics so they could continue to feed the house system, while also feeding my 4-track audio recorder.
* They work.
* They look a little clunky and you have to tape them so they don't bang into the mic stand.
