Comments about Cullmann Primax 150 Aluminum Tripod with 3-Way Pan Head:
I intended to use this tripod for my Nikon D5200 camera and thought that it would be great, but once I received the tripod, the quick release could not fully connect with my camera as threading was still showing and the camera would be loose and spin around easily. I fixed it by using a washer on the back of the quick release so my camera could fit in tight and snug with the quick release. Once i started using the tripod with my D5200, I noticed that all of the knobs were stiff so I hope I just have to "break it in" to get it a bit loose. I love the bubble levels. Overall, it's very stiff and it hasn't changed after a couple weeks of using it; it has great features, the quick release was great after I added a washer, and it's great for travel since it's lightweight and compact.

Comments about Cullmann Primax 150 Aluminum Tripod with 3-Way Pan Head:
I bought this to use with a 5.3 pound spotting scope. The 6.6 pound capacity rating led me to believe it would be adequate...it is not.
It's a decent tripod for a standard camera, but not for much more. I am exchanging it for one that has an 11 pound load rating.

Comments about Cullmann Primax 150 Aluminum Tripod with 3-Way Pan Head:
First, there is little aluminum in this tripod. Mostly all plastic. Head is all plastic except the screw. Works well as a cheapo, but that's it. It is light and semi-sturdy. Good for backpacking hiking.

Comments about Cullmann Primax 150 Aluminum Tripod with 3-Way Pan Head:
There are so many tripods out there its tough to pick one, but this one works for me as both a studio tripod with small and medium lenses, and as a travel tripod.
It comes with a case that straps to the bottom of my backpack no problem. It's very lightweight and sturdy. For the price I have no complaints at all.
