Comments about Visatec Halogen Modeling Lamp for Solo Monolights (150W/120V):

I've had the original halogen modeling lamps in my Visatec Monolights for 5+ years with occasional use. No complaints there. I've only had to replace one because I took my Monolights in the truck for a shoot outdoors and upon setting up the lights, I noticed the filament broke (most likely due to the road vibration).

Comments about Visatec Halogen Modeling Lamp for Solo Monolights (150W/120V):

Bulbs generally last a long life if they are used properly. A recommendation for better lamp life is to avoid moving the unit while the continuos light is powered on. If the lamp/filament receives shock while it is hot, it is a bit weaker and can break easily. Nevertheless, even with rough use, this equipment always delivers and proves to be of the most durable quality. Down part is that it is a bit pricey...
