The Vivitar ViviCam X018 Digital Camera (Strawberry) contains a 10.1 megapixel CMOS sensor, and utilizes a fixed 7mm f/3.0 lens. Get closer to your subject with 4x digital zoom. With the 1.8" flip screen you can compose your photos from both high and low angles. It even flips around to the front for self-portraits.
Image-enhancing features found on the ViviCam X018 include Face Detection and Smile Capture, and Anti-Shake technology for capturing sharp pictures under low-light conditions (or places you can't use flash). The camera also features PictBridge for easy printing and you can shoot 640x480 video at 30 fps. The camera is powered by 3 x AAA batteries.

It also takes a long time between pictures to load. The camera was not good. I ended up returning the camera because it kept freezing after taking a picture. Do not buy this camera!!

It's a good camera. I bought it for my 8 year old son, and it's perfect for him (taking into account its price). I would really recommend it for kids, but not so for adults. I would say its a good option for a first camera.

If the flash is off, pics turn out blurry, and if the flash is on, its too bright. My iphone 3gs takes better photos than this does. I would buy this for a child. Maybe.

Gave as a Christmas gift to my 8 year old daughter. After 1 day of use, the LCD stop working when you open it up. It only worked when it was closed. So we had to replace it. The replacement is working fine.

This camera is perfectly fine. All you have to do is adjust your settings and the camera would be fine. When taking pictures the best thing to do is to put the flash on so you can get a more clearer picture. if you don't put the flash on then you picture might come out a little blurry.
