The Land Air Sea GPS Tracking Key Pro is a pocket-sized vehicle-tracking device that constantly receives signal from 24 Department of Defense satellites and records every second, within 2.5 meters accuracy. The unit records time of departure, speeds traveled, time of arrival along with addresses, and duration of stops, storing every second of travel activity up to 100 hours in the non-volatile flash memory.
Equipped with the LAS Past-Track software, the GPS Tracking Key Pro uses Google Earth for displaying data as reports, animated street views, and satellite images. Compatible with Windows 7, 2000, XP, and Vista operating systems, the tracking device allows you to conveniently transfer the data to a computer via USB port.
The Tracking Key Pro can be powered by 2 AA batteries (up to 80 hours), the main power supply of the vehicle (hardwired) or via its 12V cigarette lighter. The built-in motion detector sends the tracker into sleep mode after 2 minutes of non-movement, and saves battery life.
With a strong magnet (located at the bottom), the GPS tracker can be mounted in, on, or under the vehicle and other metal surfaces. Some of the applications for the Tracking Key Pro include monitoring company vehicles, police investigations, and teen tracking.

Bought the product to track fleet vehicles to verify routes and times of stop/starts deliveries. The product is accurate as advertised. The only problem I have had with the device is deleting history....Read complete review
Bought the product to track fleet vehicles to verify routes and times of stop/starts deliveries. The product is accurate as advertised. The only problem I have had with the device is deleting history. The workaround is to use the delete while downloading option. Surprisingly accurate without a view of sky. Easily used in a "stealth" mode. The mapping software that comes with the product to review the data is excellent, as is the integration with Google Earth. Could improve the data extract capability. The text file is a cumbersome method and the lat/long format is not as desired. Also, the stop addresses are not accurate to the exact location -- the manual explains that they use the closest known address from a database that they use. Would be better to provide the correct lat/long in addition to the address with this knowledge. These last two issues are what keeps me from giving it 5 stars.

The device works exactly as described and I like the fact that the newer version uses AA batteries for much longer life. I haven't had them long enough to confirm the battery life as described. Really like the fact that the battery compartment isn't screwed shut for easier battery replacment. SERIOUS HARDWARE DRAWBACKS ARE THIS. The battery cover is where the mounting magnet is connected too. If the battery cover were to pop loose you would lose the [$] device but hold onto the $1.00 cover. and the clips holding the cover shut are extremely weak. One of the two devices I bought came with a battery clip broken. Because of this I would never trust this device outside of a vehicle. second serious flaw is just what they claim. EVEN IN THE INSTRUCTIONS it says the device isn't to be submerged but the company also covers their rears by saying not to mount them where they would get splashed etc. Their recommendation if you want to mount outside a vehicle is to wrap it in a sandwich bag. REALLY??? a [$] device can't be made well enough to insure it won't be effected by weather or elements but a $.05 sandwich bag can solve the problem? Anyway - aside from humorous baggie issue the real problem is the battery cover so I'm restricted to putting inside our vehicles.

Better than expected. Used to verify delivery trucks. Detailed location, picks up signal through truck, can track time, speed, location (even altitude). Map overlay as detailed as one could want. I use the Tracking Key Pro on cross country trips. Unit is compact and easy to use.
Unit comes on automatically when the ignition is turned on if unit is powered externally, however a cigarette adapter for powering the unit had to be purchased separately which cost almost $25.00.
Software is user friendly.

Bought this to track a new teenage driver in our family who, how shall I say....has a bit of a wild side. Product worked, though S/W installation and set-up was not so smooth - couldn't detect unit and had to download an upgrade. Also, a small plastic piece broke off the battery latch cover the first time I opened it....the latch still functioned, but for how long?

The resolution and ability to track, even in odd inside the vehicle places like the glove compartment or under a seat is great. Mapping capability in detail is lost outside the US, so international tracking is there, but only on Google Earth. Definitely a good, simple and accurate device.

We use it to track work vehicles and monitor down time. The great thing is its size and hideability no one can see it and they behave normal. Data retreval is easy. The only issue is the map is sometimes not as detailed but the stats provided make up for that mior challenge.

I use the product to monitor fleet vehicles. It is less expensive to use than an active device. This device is frequently moved around to various vehicles in the fleet. This process has really cut down on costs. I have found the GPS unit to be a little week in the reception side but a useful tool for my company.
