This OverBoard Waterproof Camera Case can be used with cameras that have an external zoom lens since there is an extended lens port. The "Slide Seal System" seals your compact point & shoot camera inside the case so you can use it at the beach, while swimming, kayaking, skiing, fishing, sailing, snorkeling or diving to 19' (6m). The case will also keep out dust, sand and dirt. This is a PVC vinyl case that allows access to all controls, and the LENZFLEX port enables you to shoot clear photos. The housing meets Class 5 requirements for underwater usage and will float with most cameras.

The case is compatible with cameras that have a length of 4" (101.6mm) or smaller, and a circumference no larger than 8" (203mm). This does not include the lens. The lens can be 1.1" (28mm) long and 1.7" (43.18mm) across.

Comments about OverBoard Waterproof Camera Case:

I bought this to take on our trip to Sint Maarten. If you are simply looking for something to protect your camera on the beach from sand and water, this will do just fine. I was hoping for more...the case is entirely too large for my pocket sized camera...I understand this is a universal case but they need a better design to keep it from moving around so much. I stuffed tissue in there but it eventually got compacted and didn't help too much. I had to spend a lot of time making sure the lens on the camera was lined up with the lens port on the case otherwise my camera would see it as a hazard and automatically shut off. Again, this was caused from the case being too large. This case did keep my camera dry and free of sand but other than that, it was not very useful to me. I wouldn't recommend it to friends...if the pictures are that important, it's probably worth it to buy the high $ case for your camera and save yourself some frustration.

Comments about OverBoard Waterproof Camera Case:

Passed the waterproof test in Florida surf and springs, on the surface and down to 20'. Extension for zoom lens doesn't quite fit camera lens - requires a bit of creative handling to manage a centered, focused image. Case lens requires cleaning often, as it does not remain crystal clear for long (water spots, etc.) Not bad for the price.

Comments about OverBoard Waterproof Camera Case:

Bag works as advertised. Like the clarity of the port window on pictures and videos. Disclaimer in product literature recommends not puncturing the vinyl, and that looks like the worst thing you can do to it.
