These gloves fit well and do their job as described. As others have mentioned, some negatives regarding these gloves would be that the magnets don't really work. Yes, they hold the finger and thumb flap folded back initially, but once you flex your finger or thumb, the magnets no longer hold. They are thicker than liners, but certainly not the best insulated gloves -- I'll likely be using liners inside on days colder than 30 degrees. Also, the so-called silicone grip doesn't grip all that well. Overall though, I'm happy with them for mildly cold days with not much wind and are good for general use even for those days you're not shooting. I'd still buy the if I was to do it over again.

The first time I went on a shoot, I was disappointed to find that these gloves were little better than my old pair of 'normal' gloves. My issues were several. First, I found that it wasn't easy to remove the flaps off my thumb and index finger while wearing the gloves. Mostly, this was because the gloves are rather bulky and lack a decent grip. Second, once I got the flaps off my finger tips, I discovered that the magnets that hold the flaps down are ineffective, allowing the flap to come loose whenever I bent my finger or thumb. Third, the silicone grip palms are rather slick, and don't provide much grip. Finally, and this is my fault for not reading the description closely enough, I expected trim fitting gloves, and these are somewhat bulky due to the inner lining. On the positive side, these gloves did keep my fingers warm in twenty degree temperatures. Sad to say I returned them and will keep looking for a pair that keeps my hands from freezing and allows me to work the controls on my cameras.

The gloves are OK, but over priced even at the sale price I paid. The fleece lining is very thin and it is stretching it saying the are suitable for moderate warmth.

The gloves were given by me as a gift to my daughter's boyfriend who is a photojournalist. The cold spell that brought subzero weather to the midwest was his chance to put the to the test.

          They worked as advertised!

I use these for winter nature photography. The tips are easy to manipulate and the magnets hold the tips back securely. They are also nice and warm. Only issue I have is that they're a bit snug. I would have preferred XL.

Great fit and function. I first used these gloves at -11 degrees, not designed for that extream but kept me warm enough to function! I really don't think most gloves would do any better.

Don't feel these are very well made, time will tell...
Also not incredibly warm or stylish.
Magnets are big and bulky and don't really work so well.
Overall it does the job, but I can't say I am "excited" about them.

The gloves do keep my hands warm. Getting my shutter finger out is easy. Getting the finger covered again not so easy. The silver material on the index finger has started to fray after one week, not a good sign. I will flame the strays and hope to stop the fraying.

I work as a paparazzi. My girlfriend purchased these gloves for me for Christmas because during the winter I spend a great deal of time out in the cold. I have never been able to use gloves while shooting because it impedes my ability to manage the cameras buttons. After she researched different gloves she decided to purchase this product. It was exciting to see that there was a product that I would be able to use that wouldn't interfere with my job. I love the way they fit snugly on my hands and the magnets that keep the tips of the thumb and pointer down.
