These did not work on my brand new Denon AVR-1713. I bought several and none worked, no HDMI pass through at all. Not sure if fault of cable or receiver but it worked perfect with a different brand, same 1.4 standard. I would avoid if using on a newer Denon receiver.

I read some other reviews that this cable didn't work for them so, when I got it, I plugged it in right away from my PC to my HD Plasma TV, to the HDMI connection I was using with my shorter cable, and it didn't work! Shoot! Luckily, I tried it into HDMI #2 on my TV and it worked!!! Whew, what a relief. Not sure what that was about, but it is working excellent and that's what matters.

I bought this HDMI cable to use in our video studio. I am going to be using a Mac Mini to use as a media player hooked up to our Black Magic Design ATEM 1 M/E Switcher. And I wanted to use the HDMI out to feed the switcher.
It took a bit of configuring because the newer Mac Minis are picky about what displays are hooked up when you boot the machine. But after I got that figured out, it fed the switcher just like it was supposed to.
About the only negative is that the wire is a bit thinner than I would like, but this cable is not going to be moved around and bent a lot so I don't expect any problems from.

I am a pro videographer and I just bought this cord for a video shoot. Good build quality. Wire is a little smaller than I usually expect. But doesn't seem to affect anything. Still happy with it tho. I would recommend it but would expect a slightly shorter life from it. I recommend the 25ft length from this company full heartedly.
