Comments about Smk-link VP3701 Universal Remote Control:
It is a good product the price is right. A couple of drawbacks the angle of use is about 90 degrees from the ir input on xbox 360. It has only standard IR protocol and can not be programmed with new IR protocol, not such a big problem but a few devices it will not work. In my case a Comcast DTA. Even with its draw backs its a good remote I would buy it again.

Within 5 minutes of unwrapping it, it was programmed to control my Xbox, Samsung TV, AT&T DVR, Sony DVD player, Sony Surround Sound system and Sony VHS player. Amazing! And the price is right! Highly recommend to anyone tired of the clutter of multiple remotes.

Comments about Smk-link VP3701 Universal Remote Control:
I recently purchased this well designed and inexpensive remote device controller after a disappointing experience trying to program one that was more expensive. I had it up and running in minutes controlling multiple devices.
I have a Time Warner DVR, a Pioneer Receiver, a Panasonic DVD/VCR, a Samsung DVD player, a Netgear Roku, and an old Mitsubishi TV.
All the devices are easy to control remotely. Some of the features that make this remote great are:
- very inexpensive
- button layout matches my TW DVR remote
- very easy to program any key in learning mode
- it's compact
There is nothing negative I can say except that the manual text is very small. A magnifier fixed that problem.
I highly recommend this product,
