they did the job but I didn't know that i would have to punch holes in my film with em.

other then that they are fine, just watch you don't punch holes in your fingers like I almost did lol.

Comments about Kalt Stainless Steel Film Clips (Set of 2):

These film clips are made of very thin stainless steel, but they work fine. I like that they have sharp prongs that pierce the ends of medium format film so there's no chance that the wet film might slip out

I bought these clips together with other things here on B&H as they didn't make any difference in shipping cost and I needed an extra pair anyway. Not directly to do with B&H but I cannot recommend these clips the are flimsy and they are not well finished. In fact you need to file off the sharp and uneven edges all around the clip because you may damage your skin or even cut into it. I must have known as these were the cheapest of all the available Clips here. One more thing : only one of the clips comes with a weight. But even that one is less heavy than other manufacturers clips. Enjoy the darkroom!!

These clips are well made from stainless steel so they won't rust and feature a hook for hanging. One of the clips has a weight so that the film will hang straight without curling.
I've had similar clips for years and they show no sign of wearing out.

Solid film clips that won't drop your film. Some may dislike that they poke holes in the film, but it ensures that the film isn't going anywhere.

I use these to hang film off of my shower curtain rings in the bathroom - they fit perfectly.

Straight out of the package, the weight from the weighted clip came loose. The metal weight is only held in by flimsy tabs, and I never was able to re-secure the weight within the clip body (I finally just used a couple wraps of electrical tape). The stainless steel clip metal is thin and sharp-edged… just every indication of cheap, insubstantial manufacture. You will be disappointed -- either immediately or in time -- with this "Kalt / General Brand." Buy a slightly better brand of film clip, instead! Wish I had.

Comments about Kalt Stainless Steel Film Clips (Set of 2):

While there are much better clips out there, these do the job of hanging negatives to dry with ease. The metal used is much thinner than I anticipated, but there is more than enough resistance to hold the film in place without worry of letting go. In addition to the grip of the spring-steel, there are points which literally claw the film at the ends, guaranteeing a firm clasp. As mentioned in other reviews, the edges are quite sharp, however, a little fine grit sandpaper can take care of that. Either way, I don't find it to be a problem since I leave lots of room at the ends of film rolls "just in case".
