When on the road I can load up my 4x5 film-holders--no problem. I even use it to load my 4x5 developing tank. There's an amazing amount of room in this thing. Have not experienced any light leaks. Great investment. Had a tent-like changing bag I used to use but it's big, bulky and not real easy to open. I like it!

I pack this in a very small space - much smaller than the changing tent I use at home/locally, so it's fantastic on the road. It is light, great density, and allows no light into the working chamber. I shoot medium and large format and need a safe, ultra-dark space to change out my spent rolls and install new, and swap out sheet film and replace with new. There is only one down side, it doesn't soak up moisture when it's hot and one's arms sweat. The easy-peasy solution is to load a paper towel or two in the chamber before starting the all-dark operations.

Great bag. Very glad I didn't got for anything smaller and you shouldn't either. This will fit your tank 2 reels 2 rolls and other necessary equipment for developing, and leave you plenty of room to work with. I was concerned it might be too big and unwieldy, it wasn't, its exactly what I wanted. Get the large for sure.

Fits 4 rolls of film, 4 reels, scissors, leader retriever, 2 tanks, can opener. Fits bulk loader, 100 ft roll of film, scissors. Both leave plenty of room to work.

I am just starting to develop black and white film. This bag does what it's intended to do and it does it well. If I had to find one thing that may not have been mentioned anywhere else is that it may be air tight too. If you are a beginner with getting the film on the reels, your arms and hands start to sweat and that makes everything a little more difficult.

The bag does exactly what it is supposed to do. The construction is good and it does not feel cheap and thin it is pretty darn thick. The only downside is if you are teaching someone or you are new to putting your film on reels is that if you take more than 10 minutes the humidity in the back will get high and the film starts to stick to itself. Only beginners should worry about this though.

I have been using my bag for about two months now, and have been completely satisfied with the design and operation of it. I shoot technically involved peel-apart instant film photos as well as 4x5, so using the bag has allowed me to move out of the studio and into the field with the instant film work, as well as keep my film holders stocked on the go.

The two-zipper design is well laid out, so you can quite quickly and close the two in sequence; and I haven't had any trouble with light leaks, even when changing in bright sunlight. I have about average-male-sized arms, so the arm holes have been adequate without being too tight or too loose; if anything, they might be a wee bit short, but not annoyingly so. Finally, I think I should just say that I'll be taking the bag with me on a long trip to Europe, and it's taking up next to no room in my bag; definitely a plus.

This bag does exactly what it is suppose to do. Good construction. Zippers function well. The elastic on the arm holes is strong and holds tight. One thing to watch for, since this is a double bag design, make sure you place all of your film and equipment into the enter most bag. It is easy to put your stuff in the outer most bag which will lead to problems once you open your film. I have loaded several 135 and 120 rolls of film and had no problems. For the price, it can't be beat.

For the money this is a good product. The fabric is decent and the zippers feel nice and tight, the arm holes as well. I would still recommend doing changes in a very dark room just for safety.

If you're using a two-reel tank, I would recommend this size (large) or even one bigger. The inside will get a little tight with a big tank, two reels, films etc.

I use this bag to spool my film for development and to change my IR film in the field.

So far it's worked great. The double zippers keep everything in and the light out. My only real improvement would be to attach the bags near the zippers so that I'm not losing stuff in the outer bag, but since that is more of my error than the products I guess I can't really complain.

This bag is a reasonably sized, easy to use changing bag. The double zipper, used to put the film / tank / etc. in the bag before actually beginning to load the film into a tank, seems quite light tight, and the arm holes fit tightly. I have not seen any evidence of accidental exposure during changing on the film I have developed using this bag so far. The only worry I have is that since the arm holes have only one seal, it is remotely possible that some small amount of light could enter the bag under some circumstances.

My darkroom is not light tight during the day, so this comes in handy when loading tanks and film holders during daylight hours. Plenty of room in the bag. Double zipper and the elastic arm holes fit tight around my arms.

I've only had limited time with this changing bag, but so far I'm surprised by it's quality construction, and comfortable feel. This seems like a great bag so far, but I'll hold off final judgement after a year of use.

i purchased this changing bag in order to load IR films, re-spool 120 film onto 620 spools, and eventually, to begin processing my own film. the bag seems durable, easy to use and effective, plus it's compact.
