Tried the Halo out on some deer that hang around the house, It was accurate out to 280 yards on live animals. Really like the product and can't wait to hit the mountains and try it on my elk, deer and bear hunt in late October.

Use it for bow and rifle hunting.
                Unit works well,
no problems so far with battery life
Is difficult to read distance in low light conditions. have to hold it up to sky to see numbers.

Comments about Wildgame Innovations R400 Halo Laser Rangefinder:

This did a fairly good job of estimating distance in the office and on a test run. In the field it wasn't as accurate, but I was carrying the unit in a pocket and the batteries may have emptied while I was walking around. The viewer/6x lens is clear and bright.
