The Vinten V4045-1901 Camera Mounting Plate is used to mount cameras on pan and tilt heads such as Vision 8AS and 10AS. It comes with 3/8" screws and a 1/4" pin assembly. When coupled with fluid heads, the mounting plate can be used for attaching a second camera or as a replacement part.

I cant believe this piece of painted iron cost so much. It does the same as any other plate. When using bigger camcorders as sony HXC100 the plate wont let you balance well because is too short. Be careful when selecting plates for Vinten heads there are a lot of possibilities and for me became a pain to choose the right one and buy online.
