The Slik Pro 724 CF 3-Section Carbon Fiber Tripod is a lightweight yet tall set of legs for camcorders and DSLR cameras equipped with standard zooms or telephoto lenses. The Pro 723 CF reaches a maximum height of 64.4" and supports loads up to 11 lb, yet weighs a mere 3.1 lb and folds down to a compact 18.6".
The four leg sections are secured and freed by way of twist locks. Because the legs are non-rotating, you can unlock all three of a leg's stages at once by twisting the three large rubber grips with one hand. This enables fast setup of the Pro 724 CF tripod.
The rapid center column is removable as well as reversible for extreme low-angle shooting with an inverted camera. At the bottom of the center column is a metal hook for hanging a counterweight for additional stability for uneven loads or for windy conditions.

I use this tripod with a canon 5DII and a 16-35 and 70-200 f4. . The height is what makes it great, for a 18 +inches closed tripod. Fits very nicely in must case. No proplem being solid, when shooting.

Quality construction. Light and short when folded, perfect for transport. Sturdy and easy to set up. I feel secure using this in the wind on uneven surfaces with my Nikon 300S and long and heavy tele lens. A good match with my Slik SBH-280 Ball Head. Only downside is that there are only 2 lateral adjustments for the legs.
