The book I had for vr 2 was better. This seems to jump around too much. It does have some awesome advice and tips in it, I just don't like the way it was put together.

I ordered & received lightroom 3 quickly without a problem just as one is used to from B&H. Loading was easy & was up & running just like I had hoped, not a problem at all. In just a few minutes after moving about in the new program it became clear that this was no light weight program. This is a complete and detailed system that will require a learning curve. By the end of the day I made a decision to go back on to the B&H site to order "Lightroom 3 Streamlining your digital photography process"by Nat Coalson. Now armed with this help I am starting to make some headway and feel that great results are just around the corner.

Comments about Wiley Publications Book: Lightroom 3: Streamlining Your Digital Photography Process by Nat Coalson:

I upgraded from Lightroom 2 and have been most impressed with the Raw Converter prossing abilities of this 3rd version. It has an option to convert your images already processed in Lightroom 2 to Lightroom 3 with before and after results to see. After testing this I converted all my photos to the new version. It is simply that much better!! But as programs get more powerful there are more options and I would strongly suggest getting Nat Coalsons book on this 3rd version before you load it and read all of the do's and don'ts. His book is very well organized from beginning to end. Its great and a must for getting the most out of Lightroom 3!
