Tape is alright, however we bulk ordered 20 rolls and all of them came distorted and weathered. We spent about 30 minutes taking a screwdriver tying to pry the ones that stuck together. Over all still Rosco brand tape, I can only guess how long its been sitting in the warehouse though.

Very good quality tape. Doesn't leave residue on the surface it was applied on. I like very much Rosco products (also use Rosco CTO gel for color correction).

As far as gaff tape goes, this stuff pulls off the role easily (doesn't stick too much to itself), and rips easily without too many of those single loose strands of thread hanging on. I don't know....it's gaff tape...how specific can I be?

I use this product mostly for adhering wires to the floor for safety issues on video shoots for work. Rosco Gaffer Tape is the most adhesive, durable and flexible Gaffer tape I have ever purchased. I tried this tape out since B&H has free shipping so it made it a little cheaper than ordering the tape I normally use. Not a good idea. I usually use Pro-Gaff brand. Pro-Gaff feels a little stickier and a little stronger and it doesn't tear as easy. Could be my imagination but from the initial impression of the Rosco brand this is what I have gathered.

Essential for any shoot and an easy quick fix for most anything on set - from rigging a broken microphone mount, to securing a reflector to a c-stand... if you're serious about the job. You've gotta have gaffers tape - and as gaff tape goes this'll do the trick.
