Comments about RPS Lighting RPS Studio 3-in-1 Wireless Remote Control Kit for Canon "D" Series:

The remote would only work when it was 1 to 2 feet away from the camera or flash. Thought the battery might be the problem but a new battery did not change the effective distance. Apparently there is no quality control at the manufacturer.
          This product has no value.

The product is great! Works well in both shutter release and flash. Very responsive in far distances. Used it on my Canon 40D for my daughters fashion diva party.

Comments about RPS Lighting RPS Studio 3-in-1 Wireless Remote Control Kit for Canon "D" Series:

This unit is very cheaply made, and works on occasion. There are several other units (in this price range) that are a much better choice.
It gets 1 star because this system has no provision for 0 stars. I have nothing positve to say about this product.

Comments about RPS Lighting RPS Studio 3-in-1 Wireless Remote Control Kit for Canon "D" Series:

I like this setup a lot. The range for this thing is really good. Haven't gone out of range yet! What I use it for the most is off camera flash. Using it as a remote shutter is also a fun way to get some interesting shots....(self portrait of you on a bike trail, etc.). The only thing I don't like about it is when you push the button halfway to focus the camera, it will go ahead and take the shot as well. Maybe I just got a bad one... I don't know. That being said, I really like this thing.
