Comments about Camera Duck Large Heat Warmer Packet (Pack of 4):

I tried to shoot in 20F weather, no heat. Yep, that was dumb. So, I bought a camera duck weather protector for my DSLR rig and a whole bunch of these heaters. Out in the extreme cold the weather protection has an internal climate that feels like its about 50F and that's a happy temp for my cameras. Here's the catch, you need to open the heater package and expose them to air at least 30min before use. Maybe longer. Get them right into their pouches in the weather casing and let the casing warm as well. I do this in my truck and it works great. Its the only reason I don't give it a 5 star rating, no instant gratification. It does last a long time by the way - heats for hours on end.
