The Profoto 5° D1 Honeycomb Grid is one of the easiest ways to control the light beam and prevent light spill from a D1 flash. This grid produces a very narrow 5° beam of light. Designed and manufactured specifically for the D1, this honeycomb grid attaches directly to the front of the flash head with the built-in mounting clips--no grid holder needed.

Comments about Profoto 5° D1 Honeycomb Grid:
Very nice to be able to slip this on the D1 by itself. Tight beam, less light output than I expected since it is so restricting of the light. I can tell it will last forever if taken care of.

Comments about Profoto 5° D1 Honeycomb Grid:
This grid is perfect for the D1 air heads. Just slide it on. Not to bulky. Fits well and doesn't have the problem of getting damaged like the 7" grids. I gave it a 4 because it can't be changed to a 10,20,30 or 40 degree. You can buy a 7" reflector and attach other grids to work with the D1 air heads. So you can have a dedicated grid or buy 7" ones and do it that way. All in all If my system is all Profoto which I am adding more heads to my system then I don't need the 7" grids.

Comments about Profoto 5° D1 Honeycomb Grid:
When short on time and grip equipment, the GRID will help isolate light path. Works fast and easy. Better than a few stands and flags when trying to limit light to specific target.
