The Brother PT-9700PC Desktop Bar Code Printer is a compact workhorse designed to take up as little space as possible, yet print out 360 dpi labels like a champ! This high quality printer makes laminated labels with a quick 3.1 ips print speed, and you can command the automatic cutter to trim the continuous label to a customized length, or set it to half-cut multiple labels.
Compatible with both HG and TZ tapes, the PT-9700PC is easy to maintain. Both of these tape types drop right into the printer, as do cartridges that contain the consumables. There are no adjustments necessary either, allowing you to get back to work without much delay.
The PT-9700PC is fully compatible with Windows 7, along with other Windows operating systems. In addition, you can use the label printer with other external devices, such as a bar code scanner, keyboard, or medical equipment. Brother backs up the PT-9700PC with a 2-year limited warranty and toll free customer support.

I use this labeler to label thousands of computers. I have never had a problem. I am able to export my database into excel as a csv and print the name of the device, serial number (in a barcode) and also print a QR code that links to an online database to always show me the most accurate hardware information about the device.

I use this product to label and tag all items that we sell. It makes labels that are laminated and look like you had them made by one of the high priced label vendors. After serving us for four years and thousdans of feet of lables out PT-9500PC failed. We immidiately replaced it with this PT-9700PC and labels continue to stream!
