The Hello Kitty Light-Up Message Board is the perfect way to leave messages for your family, roommates, and friends to discover. Mounting magnetically on your fridge or locker, the board includes an erasable marker that allows you to write on its surface. Whatever you write, draw, or doodle, will glow -- and you can even set it to flash on and off for superlative attention-getting.
The message board is adorned with the familiar face of Hello Kitty -- the public identity of the oft-mouthless Kitty White. Born in Japan, Kitty is about five apples tall and weighs a scant three apples. Although, to be honest, it's best never to ask a female kitty about her weight! She has type A blood, enjoys baking cookies, and loves her mama's apple pie.
If Kitty were to use this message board in her home, she might leave messages for her beloved Mama or twin sister Mimmy. She could remind her mama that she needs new flour for cookie baking, or perhaps draw a goldfish. For very special occasions -- such as those times she does well in her music classes -- she can set her message to flash on and off, so that she'll be sure that her family takes notice.
The Hello Kitty Light-Up Message Board requires four AAA batteries for operation. If you don't have a magnetic surface to mount it, you also have the option of hanging it on a wall -- although you'll have to provide that hardware yourself. The board measures about 7.2 x 5.9 x 1.2", and weighs about 4.98 ounces.

B&H re-packaged it and put it back on the shelf. The only reason I bought it was because even though I noticed it was re-packaged I figured it was still working, why else would they re-shelf it. Additionally I would have opted for a different one but 3year old daughter had to have the only pink one on the shelf
