Comments about National Geographic A7300 Africa Series Padded Shoulder Pad (Dark Brown):
Bought this strap for my canvas messenger bag which I converted to a camera messenger bag. Great accessory that'll fit most padless straps. the only negative thing I have to say about this is that it's a little stiff and doesn't mold to my shoulder as much as I would like, but I'm sure it'll get better as I break it in.

I usually carry a backpack, but was not feasible on this trip. Slipped this shoulder pad over another bag I had, and it made it so much more comfortable with all my gear! Plus, I was not walking around Paris, France with a camera bag that looked like a camera bag! Nice!

Comments about National Geographic A7300 Africa Series Padded Shoulder Pad (Dark Brown):
The pad works great! I usually carry my laptop around in a messenger bag with a basic fabric strap. The pad helps distribute the weight and significantly reduces shoulder pain. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is that it does slide a little bit.

I decided to treat myself to the NG series A7300 Shoulder Pad after purchasing an NG African Series bag. Read the reviews on the pad from B&H Photo and my right shoulder thanks you.

Comments about National Geographic A7300 Africa Series Padded Shoulder Pad (Dark Brown):
I had purchased the NG Earth Explorer bag several years ago and was generally very pleased with it, EXCEPT that the strap was uncomfortable and my shoulders got tired using it pretty quickly. I soon stopped using that bag at all for cameras and began simply using it as a book bag. But now, with this new padded cover, I love my Explorer bag again! My only beef, and it is nothing major, is that the look and feel of the pad really is designed to match National Geo's Africa series of bags, and it does look a little out of place on the Explorer series.

I bought this becasue its color matched the messenger bag. It is a good padded addition but it does not have any slip resistance.

I use this strap with my NG A2550 bag. With DSLR, grip, 2 lenses and laptop, this shoulder pad really lightens the load on my shoulders. With just the camera and an attached lens, it isn't necessary and just gets in the way. Move it down the shoulder strap and it is out of the way.

This was a cost-affective way of preventing my Billingham shoulder bag from slicing off my arm when it was full of gear....a great bag, but needed a shoulder strap to spread the load.

Almost a perfect match for my belstaff messenger bag. Only gripe is that I wish it was a little less stiff. Other than that it's a home run.

I got this shoulder strap at the trade fair photkina in cologne (for free) and think it is the best I ever used. It gives the impression the weight of the bags is only half! I just love it!!
