Redrock Micro's nano - RunningMan combines stability and size for the ideal run-and-gun DSLR support rig. By allowing 3 points of contact between yourself and the camera--handgrip, body pad, and camera grip--the RunningMan provides a compact, lightweight solution for achieving stable handheld video. With the addition of an optional microFinder, you can add a fourth point of contact for an even sturdier shooting alternative.

The Redrock RunningMan DSLR support is a useful tool for run & gun shooting with my Canon 5D MKII. It's lightweight and folds down into a compact package, but provides good, solid support when properly tightened down. The tiny bolts securing the mounting plate did loosen up during use, introducing some wobble that I had to work around in the field. I tightened them down and so far it appears to be working fine.

I am new to shooting video with the 7D but find this rig to be fairly simple and compact and sturdy - definitely adds steadiness to filming without being too complicated or bulky. Would probably be best if it were just all black ... would love a rig that really folds up flat - easily and quickly - you can this down, it just involves a few separate actions.
