The Sonnet 4-Port USB 2.0 ExpressCard/34 Expansion Card allows you to connect more of your USB peripherals like portable drives, flash drives, iPod and iPhone mobile digital devices, memory card readers, mice, keyboards, printers, scanners, digital cameras, digital camcorders, audio interfaces, microphones, and turntables at the same time.

Unlike a hub, this adapter has its own USB controller, so it doesn't share your computer's built-in USB bus. It provides more bandwidth to support maximum performance for the devices you connect.

The Sonnet 4-Port ExpressCard/34 supplies 5V DC current to connected devices, so you can connect and operate your bus-powered 2.5" drive plus three low-power devices without plugging into an AC adapter. No need to install any drivers. Simply plug-and-play the 4-Port ExpressCard/34 to any compatible computer. It also features hot-pluggable and hot-swappable device connection with automatic device configuration.

Comments about Sonnet 4-Port USB 2.0 ExpressCard/34 Expansion Card:

My first time using a 34 card. I plugged it into my 17" MacBook Pro, connected my Apple aluminum keyboard, Logitech mouse, two iPhones and it works perfectly. Just what I needed. I use the remaining usb ports of my MacBook Pro for higher current devices now.
