The Oben BA-00T Ball Head is a sturdy, lightweight aluminum ball head for photography. With a load capacity of 6.6 lb, the BA-00T head will support any DSLR or point & shoot camera. The head has a slim design that makes it especially suited for folding a.k.a. travel tripods – models of which the legs fold upward 180° for extra compactness when a head is attached.
The BA-00T head's single-action knob allows you to unlock all axes of movement in one fell swoop, so you can quickly orient your camera properly, retighten the knob, and return to shooting. The ball-locking mechanism is remarkably strong for reliably stable performance.
The included RP-10 quick-release plate attaches to your camera via its standard 1/4"-20 screw. A retractable, removable video pin provides additional stability for camcorders. The quick-release plate easily snaps and locks into place on the BA-00T head. The safety lock on the quick-release mechanism prevents the camera from disengaging inadvertently.

Easy to use, especially handy for my family reunion group photos. The quick release is easy to use and seems sturdy. Only thing I can add is that the "manual" didn't mention the adapter up front, so at first I thought it wasn't going to work with my tripod.
