Worked as advertised, first time. Simple plug it in and it opens up screens for the source and target computers, lets you transfer both directions by drag-and-drop. I got this because phasing out an old laptop that had a broken NIC port. Only way to get files off it for the new PC was via USB. It is also much faster than going thru a standard NIC (480 mbps instead of just 100), so could be used for transfering lots of data. Good software interface, and can also be used as a 3-port USB hub.
