The mc3 in-ear headphones from Etymotic Research provide high-quality performance in a compact and affordable package. The headphones feature high-output neodymium moving coil drivers to provide a better than 85% response accuracy with tight bass and clear treble at all volume levels. User-replaceable ACCU·Filters protect the drivers from earwax and other debris to ensure lasting quality and clarity. The in-ear design and assortment of noise-isolating ACCU·Fit eartips provide a proper seal in the ear canal to reduce outside noise by 35-42dB. A CUSTOM·FIT option is also available that allows you to purchase custom-made eartips that are specifically designed for your ears.

The Kevlar-reinforced cable offers lasting durability and has an inline microphone and remote control for use with iPods, iPhones, and iPads. The close-proximity high sensitivity microphone provides clear vocal pickup, while the remote lets you play and pause music, skip tracks, and answer phone calls on the iPhone. The standard 3.5mm plug provides compatibility with a variety of MP3 players, CD players, and other devices. The headphones have a high-gloss polished aluminum finish that's available in 4 different colors, perfect for matching your iPod, mood, or outfit. A compact pouch is included for storage and travel.

Note! The remote and mic are supported only by iPod nano (4th, 5th, and 6th generation), iPod classic (120GB, 160GB only), iPod touch (2nd, 3rd, and 4th generation), iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4, and iPad. Poor Bass, super poor bass.
          Build quality is pretty good

          Comes with very nice accessories.

But i can't really fit the ear tips that comes original in it.
But other ear tips works great.
          Super great noise isolation.

You have to buy extra ear pieces with this item The manual says that every few weeks you should change the earpiece since they start deforming. My foam earpiece already started breaking up.

Comments about Etymotic Research mc3 Noise-Isolating In-Ear Stereo Headphones with Mic (Red):

These sound great with excellent sound isolation but the included foam inserts broke quickly. I have other etymotic research as well as shure in-ear phones and both isolate noise well but shure foam earplugs last many times longer in my experience. I only use foam inserts since they isolate noise better for me.
