The Incase 13" Hardshell Case (Frost) is a frosted, hard plastic shell with a soft-touch coating designed to protect an Apple 13" aluminum unibody MacBook Pro notebook computer. It has precise cut-outs that allow access to all ports, jacks and all entry points. There are vents and rubber feet that allow the internal fans to circulate air.

I bought this to fit a Macbook Pro 13" retina display I purchased for my son, and unfortunately, it does not fit. Further looking shows that as of now, I could not find any hard shell case for the above laptop from any manufacturer. Apparently they're not in production.
This case is perhaps an eighth of an inch too large around all sides for the 13" with Retina Display.

I bought this case for my new MacBook because I was a little nervous about scratching the aluminum surface and wanted to add a little more bulk to it. I really like the look and feel of the case, it's barely noticeable and adds a nice texture. The rubber feet add a nice grip to the bottom of the device, and I feel more comfortable carrying it around. It's very easy to snap on and adds a little diffusion to the glowing apple logo on back. Overall, I have nothing but good things to say about it, and the price on B and H was way better than anywhere else.

After shopping around for cases from different brands the hardshell case from Incase was the best fitting and gave the best protection. It covers all corners of the Macbook Pro 13 unlike other brands that only cover the front corners. The fit is exact with a soft satin feel to the touch. It also offers excellent ventilation to the bottom of the Macbook Pro. Well worth the investment and looks Great at the same time.

I have always been leery of hard shell cases on my laptops because they always seem to add a lot of bulk and take away from the esthetics. This case is simple, streamlined and beautiful. I am able to throw my Macbook Pro in a bag (with keys, pens, etc.) and not have to worry if i'm going to scratch & dent my machine. If you travel a lot and want to protect your tech investment, get one of these. You won't be disappointed!

Purchased this in black from [...] and immediately returned it when I noticed it looks dark purple in almost all lighting. Couldn't find the frost locally anywhere [...] Snug fit and great frost color. The case is not white like other incase designs but see through frost and keeps the sleek look of the MBP in tact. Very happy with my decision to return the black for the frost and it's tough to find this case anywhere locally so I highly recommend B&H.

Great case! Protects my MacBook and has a slight rubber grip to it to keep it from sliding. Its clear enough that you can still see the Apple logo. I wanted something that did not add extra weight or bulk and kept my laptop look pretty much the same, but protected. This case does it! Nice slim protecting case.
