If you're looking for an affordable, versatile HD widescreen solution for your web video and photo needs, check out Hewlett Packard's HD-3100 Webcam. Compatible with most Windows notebook and desktop computers, this webcam smoothly streams video at a true HD 720p widescreen resolution and up to 30 frames -per-second. It can also capture video at a variety of smaller resolutions. Because the webcam features a built-in directional microphone and is compatible with AIM, Skype, Windows Live Messenger, and Yahoo Messenger, it is great for web chatting. With its HD resolution, built-in microphone, and built-in image enhancing technologies, this webcam is also great for creating, emailing, or posting video blogs. For chatting or blogging, the webcam employs a face-tracking technology that keeps you in the center of the picture. Plus, the webcam can take still pictures at an interpolated resolution of 5.7MP.
