I just recently received this MP3 player from B&H and I am very happy with it. It is definitely not an ipod, but it is a good product for only [$]. It works great for playing music and is very lightweight and portable. The only con I've noticed yet is that the touch screen does not work all of the time when music is playing -- you have to push a button a few times before it activates.So anyway, if you get this expecting an ipod, you'll be disappointed. But if you're looking for a dandy mp3 player, I'd definitely recommend it.

The player, whether in the 4GB or 8GB version, is a good-looking, feature-laden product that competes well against higher-priced devices. Unfortunately, all of its positives are diminished by an appalling lack of user information. The furnished guide is largely devoted to setting up music and image files on a computer for copying the player. Features that relate to the MP828 are not covered---nothing about using a SD memory card that has been loaded with MP3 files, nothing concerning user access to My Favorites, no details on creating personal playlists that all end up being identified as "Untitled," and omission of information on loading individual JPG images that somehow wind up as blank folders in the Photo category. Go to the Coby website for help and you find that the only documents are the same general guide included with the player and a single product photo. The trouble-shooting section covers only a few topics and all are general rather than relating to specific operations. All in all, this is a product definitely in need of a specifically-directed user guide. Without it, you're likely to relegate the MP828 to the closet shelf.

I have a niece and nephew who have been wanting iPods. They are young and so looked at other options when I came across this touchscreen MP3 player. They were both super excited when they opened them for Christmas, and spent hours playing music and video taping. It was a wonderful purchase!! The only downfall that I found immediately, is that you have to charge it through a computer, no wall plug in.

This device is good for music, but it will not shuffle. Yet it has a camera and FM radio. Yes, you can load it with text, but if you want to use it as a book reader, realize that you cannot bookmark where you left of reading, you have to start at the beginning each time. It is quite a useless piece of junk. I am using it only for relaxation music to combat stress.

This product is definitely a step up from non-video MP3 players, but I was rather underwhelmed by the downgrade from my previous video mp3 player. It's main function (playing music) works fine, but the equalizer isn't very customizeable. it has an expansion card slot, but if you play a song on the expansion card, it won't continue to the next song, so you essentially can only play music that's on the device itself. Videos play fine as long as you use the included utility to transfer them. Although when playing a video, it will hold your spot so you can return to it later. the downside to this is that once you start playing a video, there's no way to restart it besides rewinding the whole video. This takes forever, since there is only one rewind speed, and it is only 3x speed. the FM radio gets good reception as long as the headphones are plugged in. I think this product could have been phenomenally better if the designers hadn't overlooked a few minor details.

Although we are intelligent people who do use technology, neither my husband or I can figure out how to play more than one song at a time, how to import the playlists, or how to mark songs as favorites. The manual only deals with how to use the media manager computer program and there is no other manual available on the internet. I will have to call customer support to see if there is any way we can use it or whether it will be headed for the trash can.

It's lightweight, but you have to press the screen kind of hard to click on an icon. The battery life is too short, and I have to charge it every night. The max it can. It froze and I cannot reset it, even though I tried pressing the button a thousand times. I hate it and it was not worth [$]!!!!!!! Get an IPOD touch instead! Do not buy this product!!! I repeat! DO NOT BUY!

This is a very good player if you are looking for something to replace some player you had for a while. It is very useful until you get a good player.
It has great memory fot this time, also micro SD card(not mini-sd, as said on add), its radio is ok too, other features it has like Video Player or Text will be useless since it have a small 420mAh battery that will take too much time to recharge, and will die too fast.
It has a camera on it, so you can take videos or photos with a poor quality(VGA camera.) But you can have your photos on it, but its too slow to step between the folders.
Good clock and calendary but no alarm.
The radio is good quality but doesn't make records .
Now, the Audio player
have good quality, shows up the album art, and have some pre eq(you can't do your own eq)
its library is ok, you can go throught all songs, favorites, Artists(all songs per artist), Genre(all songs per genre) and Albuns(all song per album, you can't select just one artit's album and this is boring), the artwork must be embedded the mp3, not that folder.jpg. Its OS is ok, its software comes in its memory, but very slow and you may think is better to manage with other one .
The sound quality is very good, but better change its phones.
It is a good substitute player.

I use this product just around the house or when I am in the car. It has a great battery life and last throughout the entire day. The charging takes awhile,though. Weak touchscreen, feels really cheap... but then again it is what you pay for.
Music plays fine, havnt had any lag or quality problems. Built in speaker works well, nothing special but about standard built-in speaker quality. Camera and video is better than I thought it would be. Overall its a decent product, works well for music and video, navigation does not flow as well as i would like.

I use this product just around the house or when I am in the car. It has a great battery life and last throughout the entire day. The charging takes awhile,though. Camera is okay as long as you are in a well lit area. Sometimes the music files get disorganised, but it is very easy to reorganise them on the computer.

I just recently received this MP3 player from B&H and I am very happy with it. It is definitely not an ipod, but it is a good product for only [$]. It works great for playing music and is very lightweight and portable. The only con I've noticed yet is that the touch screen does not work all of the time when music is playing -- you have to push a button a few times before it activates.So anyway, if you get this expecting an ipod, you'll be disappointed. But if you're looking for a dandy mp3 player, I'd definitely recommend it.

Weak touchscreen, feels really cheap... but then again it is what you pay for.
Music plays fine, havnt had any lag or quality problems. Built in speaker works well, nothing special but about standard built-in speaker quality. Camera and video is better than I thought it would be. Overall its a decent product, works well for music and video, navigation does not flow as well as i would like.
